I acquired my first Bengal six years ago and became fascinated by this extraordinary beautiful breed with a love of water and gentle, loving, intelligent natures.

The more I learnt about these fascinating creatures the more I wanted to contribute to the progress of the breed and be surrounded by these wonderful cats. With this in mind our aim here at Kodikatz is to breed good quality, healthy, well socialised kittens with affectionate natures. The most important time in a kitten's development and socialisation is during the first 12 weeks of life and as a small breeder I am able to give each kitten individual attention and care, which is not always possible in larger catteries.
All our cats and kittens live in the house as part of the family, together with our dog and daughter.

I have always loved and owned cats, both pedigree and moggies and although I love all animals, Cats have always remained my favourite.

The kittens at Kodikatz are from top quality pedigree Bengals, this ensures that we sell quality Bengals which have good markings and nice Bengal 'type', that make stunning pets. Please be aware that there are people selling Bengals for a lot less, invariably these kittens are very poor examples of the breed and are bred from cats that are generally not breeding quality, maybe from brother/sister or mother/son mating and come nowhere near to meeting the Bengal breed standards. It can be very difficult to tell the standard of a Bengal kitten as they go through a fuzzy stage, and the inexperienced can be misled, once the kitten matures you are more likely to have a domestic looking cat with very poor Bengal quality rather than having that exotic, wild looking Bengal cat with a wonderful coat. Make sure your kitten is fully registered (registration is a reliable way of proving the kitten is pedigree) and has been reared in a home environment.
As a small breeder I am able to give my babies individual time and attention which is not always possible in larger catteries, this ensures they make well socialised, loving pets who will settle in easily into a loving home.
